I am sorry I have been absent for so long. I have been to Dubai to stay with my son, daughter in law and at last to see my granddaughter Sofia and being a typical new grandmother had to show her off... isn't she beautiful... We came back with 478 photos on the camera and at the moment I can't even delete the ones that are blurred.

It was my friends mother's 90th birthday and we were invited to her surprise party. I decided to try something new this pop up card, not quite sure if I like the was I have put it together or not (the colours and flowers etc) but it was great fun to do. Sorry the photos are sort of yellow, I am not sure why.

Sorry I have been absent for so long, life has been rather a challenge lately, my son lives in Dubai and my first grandchild is due in about 2 weeks. They were supposed to be coming to England to have the baby but everything changed 2 days before they were due to come. They are now staying in Dubai and wont be here for the birth or for Christmas, so big disapointment all round.

I have been really busy making up quite a lot of 3D items that friends had ordered so although I have been really busy I have been busy doing what I love. These are a few of the items below.

I made these bird boxes so that one side of the roof opens.

All the card stock and punched items and stamps are SU, but silly me ran out of SU designer papers so made do with what I had available.

50 Years

I was asked to make a 50th wedding anniversary card with some decoupaged flowers, I couldn't think what to do and decided on my old favourite this tri shutter card. I love shades of lilacs, purples and mauves so I used Almost Amythist, Lovely Lilac and Whisper White card stock. Tea Party Designer Paper. Stamp sets are Congrats and Curvy Verse. I just hope they like it!!

It was my sons Birthday at the beginning of October. He is not really into any kind of sport in a big way and I was quite stumped as to what card to make him, after a lot of umming and aaring I came up with this. His name is Matin so I used my new large alphabet stamp set which I found at a craft fair I recently went to.

The card stock was SU brilliant blue and Whisper White the designer paper was also SU but everything else was non SU
