As Fathers day is looming, I thought I would settle down on Friday evening and make my lovely dad a card, this is what I came up with. Then on saturday afternoon a friend came to visit with her son Joshua (who is a friend of my son Matin's).
It was wonderful to see them, they moved away from the area several years ago and I hadn't seen them for about 6 years only Christmas cards flew between us. After a good catch up over cups of tea, Joshua asked if the Fathers Day Card was for sale and of course I said Yes and was only too happy for him to have it.
But of course I have had to make another one for my Dad.

Stamp Set: Plane and Simple
Card Stock: Early Espresso, River Rock, Very Vanilla
Designer Paper: From the Neutrals Collection
Inks: Early Espresso and River Rock
I also used Tea Stain and Mahogany inks from Distressing Essentials

The finished card measures 41/2" x 41/2"
