Some 3D Items

Once again too much time has passed since I last posted and for that I am so sorry. However I really am going to make an assertive effort to try and post at least once a week even if it is only something small.

I know it's only July but 2 weeks ago I went to stay with my Ann (my very youg Aunt) Crafty Squirrel we attended a training day in Peterborough with the wonderful Monica and Bekka and the theme was Christmas so it sort of got me in the mood.  I had seen this lovely pleated tree several times on the internet and then Jenny did a tutorial which showed the sizes itc. which I decided to buy .  I have used designer paper and the top piece is made with Pear Pizzazz card stock and the Pennant Parade stamp set and matching punch.

I took the Tree down to  Ann's where we decided to make another one, a suggestion was made that a snowman would be good so when I got home I set to and created the snowman below.   I used Whisper White and Basic Black Card with a little Punpkin Pie for the nose.  I am now in the middle of trying to write down all the measurements in such a way that I will understand them the next time I decide to make one.
Whilst down at Anns I noticed a lovely flower she had made and she showed me how she had done it It's called an Origami Kusudama Flower

I used designer paper made 12 of them and stuck them together to make a ball, added a piece of Whisper White ribbon and hey presto a Christmas decoration

Well that's me done for the moment I would love to say I will be back later today and I will try but I have to take my Son Matin to the hospital to have the dressing changed on his hand.
(long story)(cut short).........  Last Friday night he put his hand through some glass.  At 2 in the morning he woke me up to show me, I couldn't believe what I saw.  We jumped in the car and headed for St. Peters Hospital after 2 hours, several examinations and an xray we were sent to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough to a special plastics unit where we remained untill 3 in the afternoon.  We were told he needed an operation as he had cut the nerve to his little finger and there was still glass in the wound. We went home with the wounds loosley dressed  and arrived back at the Hopital at 7 am last Monday morning where they orperated, removed the glass, repaired the nerve and stitched him up.

Thanks so much for looking
Love and hugs
