May's Class

What a great day we had at our last class.  It was Bali's birthday and some bright spark!!! (It was actually a great idea) bought a bottle of wine to have with lunch to celebrate.  I haven't laughed so much in ages, putting stamps to card was quite a challenge after a class of wine, and I think posibily there were some wonky cards at the end. It really was a wonderful day.

The four cards below show what we made, the first being a technique called mother of pearl and using the stamp set The Open Sea.  We also used the Framelets, I do love these dies.

These two were again made using the Framelits Dies, the stamp set is Bordering on Romance another set available in the Summer Mini.
One uses Blushing Bride and Whisper White Card Stock and the other Bashful Blue and Whisper White. Write Markers were used to colour the images.
This is a deep Diarama Card it really does give a 3D image of the baloon in the centre being in the distance.
This was made using Marina Mist, Whisper White and Night of Navy card stock.  The stamp set is Up and Away
Inks used:  Real Red, Marina Mist, Night of Navy and Basic Black.
I did one of these Cross over Cards 2 or 3 years ago I believe they are called Criss Cross cards now, they are great fun to make, well we had loads of fun anyway.

River Rock, Ruby Red and Very Vanilla card stock.  The papers are from Well Worn Designer series papers.

Anyway I am off to bed now as its nearly 12 midnight and I can hardly keep my eyes open, so thank you for looking.
God bless
Jackie
